Historical Home Refresh in Belleville

This beautiful Belleville home was showing its age with faded paint and rotted wood, but the homeowner wanted to preserve its historic charm while ensuring lasting protection. Excel carefully restored the exterior, replacing damaged wood, installing an insulated vapor barrier with all seams expertly taped for a watertight seal, and wrapping exposed areas in aluminum for complete protection.

To maintain the home’s classic character, our team used CertainTeed Double 4” Clapboard Siding and Scallop Siding in Heritage Cream, paired with InvisiVent soffit in Colonial White, 6” commercial white gutters, and aluminum trim coil around all fascia, doors, and windows.

From handcrafted aluminum sunbursts in the gables to custom window headers accented with vertical siding, attention to detail set this project apart. Each element was designed to honor the home’s historical style while giving it the durability and performance of modern materials.
